Non-Stick frying pan Set

The exclusive AEG Gourmet Collection set of coated aluminium pans is designed to bring

out the best in taste and texture using the Induction technology. Optimal heat ecient

and perfectly even cooking is achieved by the use of exclusive high quality forged

aluminium. The premium anti-stick coating prevents food from sticking, does not alter

the taste of food and a consistently high quality performance.

• washinwarm,soapywaterwithasoftsponge.Rinse

thoroughlyanddrycompletelywithasoftcloth.

• Beforeheatingyournewcookwareforthersttime,applya

littlevegetableoiltotheinsideofthepanorpotwithapaper

towel.Thiswilllightlyseasonthesurfaceandenhancethe

propertiesofthenon-stickcoating.Youmightconsiderdoing

thiseachtimebeforeyouputawaythecookwareforalonger

time.

Cooking with your non-stick cookware

• Alwaysstartwithacleanpan.

• Takethefoodfromtherefrigeratoratleast10minutesbefore

cooking.

• Ifyouuseoilfortasteortexture,allowtheoiltowarmfora

minuteortwooverlowtomediumheatbeforeaddingfoodto

the pan.

• Experimentwithyourhobtondthebestcookingtemperature.

• Yourcookwarehasfastandevenheattransfersofoodand

oilcancharveryquickly.Alwayscookusinglowtomedium

heat.Onlyusehighheatwhenthepotislledwithaliquidfor

boilingwaterorfood(likepastaforinstance)

• Neverallowapantoboildry.Neverleaveyourpanontheheat

unattended.

• Neverusemixersorbeaters,orcutfoodinsidethepanasthis

willdamagethenon-stickcoatinginthepan.

• Useasurfaceprotectorwhenyouplacehotcookwareonatable

or countertop

• Eventhoughthenon-stickcoatinghasgreatresistancetowear,

metalutensilswillcausescratchingofthesurface.Scratches

arenotcoveredinthewarranty.Werecommendusingbamboo,

silicone,nylonorwoodenutensilstoprotectandextendthelife

ofyourcookware.

• Donotdropthepanontheoor,protectthepanfromdents

and scratches, as this can aect the non-stick properties of the

pan.

Recommendations for energy saving

• Cookonaburnerthatisapproximatelysimilarinbasediameter

to that of the pan you have selected.

• Whencookingongas,adjusttheamesoitdoesnotareup

the sides of the pan.

• Uselowheattowarmfoods,simmerorpreparedelicatesauces.

CARE AND CLEANING

• Remembertoletyourpancoolbeforecleaning

• Althoughyournon-stickcoatedpanisdishwashersafe,we

don’trecommendcleaningthecookwareinthedishwasher.The

highheatandharshdetergentswilldeterioratethequalitiesof

thecoating.Wealsorecommendhandwashingforstainless

steelcookware.

• Cleanaftereachusebyhandwithadishdetergentespecially

madeforhandwashing.Besurethatyoudonotuseaharsh

cleaning product that is based on citric acids or that contains

chlorinebleach.Usewarm,soapywaterandspongeora

dishcloth.Donotusesteelwoolornylonscrubbingpads,oven

cleaner or any cleaner that is abrasive, is a citrus based cleanser

or contains chlorine bleach.

• Rinseinwarmwateranddryimmediatelywithasoftcloth.

• Alwayscleanyourcookwarethoroughlysinceanyfoodresidue

willcookintothesurfacecausingfoodtostick

• Ifyouhaveremainsoffoodstucktothecookware,theycan

easilyberemovedbycoveringthebottomofthepanwith

waterandlettingitsoakowhilegentlyheatingitatlow

temperature(noneedtoletthewaterboil).

• Donotuseametalutensil.

• Ifyoustoreyournon-stickcoatedpotsandpansbystacking

them,put,forinstance,adishtowelbetweenthemavoiding

partsoftheupperitemtoscratchthesurfaceofthelower

element.
