GENERAL SAFETY CONDITIONS IMPORTANT SAFETY

INSTRUCTIONS.

PLEASE READ CAREFULLY AND KEEP FOR FUTURE REFERENCE

1. Before using the device, read the instruction manual and follow the

instructions contained therein.

2. The product is intended for household use only. Do not use for other

purposes that are not intended.

3. Use the cafe only on the specified types of heat sources. The product is

designed for use on the following heat sources: gas hob, electric hob, glass

ceramic hob, halogen hob and induction hob.

4. Take special care when using the appliance when children are around.

5. Use the coffee maker only under supervision. Do not leave the cafe on the

heat source unattended.

6. The coffee maker gets very hot during normal use. There is a risk of burns if

it comes into contact with hot surfaces. Grasp the device only by the lid

handle, the pot handle or if necessary using oven gloves.

7. Hot steam may escape from the safety valve when it is activated. Make sure

the valve is not facing the user.

8. Do not use damaged equipment or if it does not work properly. Do not

repair the device yourself. Refer a damaged appliance to a suitable service

center for inspection or repair. Any repairs must be performed only by

authorized service centers. Improper repairs may cause serious danger to the

user.

9. The manufacturer is not responsible for damage caused by the use of the

equipment contrary to its intended use or improper operation and maintenance,

which may adversely affect safety. Do not allow children to play with the

equipment, do not allow children or anyone unfamiliar with the equipment to

use it.

10. Never use the device without water in the lower tank! The device may be

damaged.

11. Never use the device with carbonated water, milk or any other liquid!!!

12. Regularly clean and check the equipment to ensure the quality of the coffee

you get and to prolong its life.

13. Always let all hot parts cool down before cleaning. Clean the equipment

with a mild, non-abrasive detergent. Never use a solvent for cleaning, as this
