oven mitts or potholders if necessary.

Maintain the qualities of your cookware

BEFORE FIRST TIME USE

• Readtheinstructionscarefully

• Afterunpackingyourcookware,

• washinwarm,soapywaterwithasoftsponge.Rinse

thoroughly and dry completely with a soft cloth.

• Beforeheatingyournewcookwareforthersttime,applya

little vegetable oil to the inside of the pan or pot with a paper

towel.This will lightly season the surface and enhance the

properties of the non-stick coating. You might consider doing

this each time before you put away the cookware for a longer

time.

Cooking with your non-stick cookware

• Alwaysstartwithacleanpan.

• Neveroverheatthepanwhenempty,thismaydamagethe

cookware.

• Takethefoodfromtherefrigeratoratleast10minutesbefore

cooking.

• Ifyouuseoilfortasteortexture,allowtheoiltowarmfora

minute or two over low to medium heat before adding food to

the pan.

• Experimentwithyourhobtondthebestcookingtemperature.

• Yourcookwarehasfastandevenheattransfersofoodand

oilcancharveryquickly.Alwayscookusinglowtomedium

heat.Onlyusehighheatwhenthepotislledwithaliquidfor

boiling water or food (like pasta for instance)

• Neverallowapantoboildry.Neverleaveyourpanontheheat

unattended.

• Neverusemixersorbeaters,orcutfoodinsidethepanasthis

will damage the non-stick coating in the pan.

• Useasurfaceprotectorwhenyouplacehotcookwareonatable

or countertop

• Eventhoughthenon-stickcoatinghasgreatresistancetowear,

metal utensils will cause scratching of the surface. Scratches

are not covered in the warranty.We recommend using bamboo,

silicone, nylon or wooden utensils to protect and extend the life

of your cookware.

• Donotdropthepanontheoor,protectthepanfromdents

and scratches, as this can aect the non-stick properties of the

pan.

Recommendations for energy saving

• Cookonaburnerthatisapproximatelysimilarinbasediameter

to that of the pan you have selected.

• Whencookingongas,adjusttheamesoitdoesnotareup

the sides of the pan.

• Uselowheattowarmfoods,simmerorpreparedelicatesauces.

CARE AND CLEANING

• Remembertoletyourpancoolbeforecleaning

• Althoughyournon-stickcoatedpanisdishwashersafe,we

don’t recommend cleaning the cookware in the dishwasher. The

high heat and harsh detergents will deteriorate the qualities of

the coating. We also recommend hand washing for stainless

steel cookware.

• Cleanaftereachusebyhandwithadishdetergentespecially

madeforhandwashing.Besurethatyoudonotuseaharsh

cleaning product that is based on citric acids or that contains

chlorinebleach.Usewarm,soapywaterandspongeora

dishcloth.Donotusesteelwoolornylonscrubbingpads,oven

cleaner or any cleaner that is abrasive, is a citrus based cleanser

or contains chlorine bleach.

• Rinseinwarmwateranddryimmediatelywithasoftcloth.

• Alwayscleanyourcookwarethoroughlysinceanyfoodresidue

will cook into the surface causing food to stick

• Ifyouhaveremainsoffoodstucktothecookware,theycan

easily be removed by covering the bottom of the pan with

water and letting it soak o while gently heating it at low

temperature (no need to let the water boil).

• Donotuseametalutensil.

• Ifyoustoreyournon-stickcoatedpotsandpansbystacking

them, put, for instance, a dish towel between them avoiding

parts of the upper item to scratch the surface of the lower

element.
