Instructions for safe operation

Children must not use this device.

This device with its power cable must be stored out of the reach of children.

Cleaning and user maintenance must not be performed by children.

~

Children must not play with the device.

~

This device can be used by people with restricted physical, sensory or intellectual abilities or people

without adequate experience and/or understanding if they are supervised or instructed on how to

use this device safely and if they are aware of the resulting hazards.

~

The device must be disconnected from the mains if left unattended and prior to assembly, disassem-

bly or cleaning.

~

Please remember that the blades of the French fries disc, the grating and cutting disc, the blade as-

sembly and the blade unit for the mini crusher are very sharp:

- Never touch the blades with your bare hands in order to avoid cuts.

- When rinsing by hand, use water which is so clear that you are able to see the blades proper-

ly in order to ensure that you do not injure yourself on the very sharp blades.

- When emptying the working container and the mini container, make sure that you do not touch

the blades of the blade assembly / blade unit.

- When removing and inserting the working tools, make sure that you do not touch the blades.

- When you are not using the blade assembly, push the blade guard on to the blades.

- With all discs, when removing blockages and removing the unprocessed ingredients on them,

make sure that you do not touch the blades.

Prior to the replacement of parts or attachments which move when in operation, the device must be

switched off and disconnected from the mains.

~

The working tools (e.g. the blade assembly, the grating and cutting discs) continue to spin after be-

ing switched off. Wait for the device to come to a standstill before unlocking and opening the lid.

~

Improper use of the device may result in injuries.

~

This device is not intended to be operated using an external timer or a separate remote control sys-

tem.

~

If the power cable of this device should become damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, the

manufacturer's customer service department or a similarly qualified specialist in order to avoid any

hazards.

~

Depending on the function, the device is intended for the following maximum operating times with-

out interruption:

- Blade assembly: maximum 3 minutes

- Mixer assembly: maximum 3 minutes

- Whisking disc: maximum 6 minutes

- French fries disc: maximum 2 minutes

- Grater and cutting discs: maximum 2 minutes

- Citrus press: maximum 7 minutes

- Mini crusher: maximum 2 minutes

After this, the device must remain switched off until it has cooled down to room temperature.

Clean all parts and surfaces that come into contact with food before using the device for the first

time (see “Cleaning and servicing the device” on page 15).
