Battery safety instructions

WARNING! RISK OF DEATH

Do not ingest the battery, risk of burns due to hazardous

substances. If a battery is swallowed, severe internal burns can

occur within just 2 hours and lead to death. Keep new and used

batteries away from children. If the battery compartment does not

close securely, stop using the product and keep it away from

children. If you think batteries may have been swallowed or

entered any part of the body, seek medical attention immediately.

Ingestion can result in burns, perforation of soft tissue and death.

Never recharge non-rechargeable batteries. Do not short-circuit

batteries/rechargeable batteries and do not open them. This can

result in overheating, fire hazards or explosions. Never throw

batteries/rechargeable batteries into fire or water. Do not subject

batteries/rechargeable batteries to mechanical stress.

BATTERIES/RECHARGEABLE

BATTERIES

Avoid extreme conditions and temperatures that may affect

batteries/rechargeable batteries, e.g. radiators/direct sunlight. If

batteries/rechargeable batteries are leaking, avoid contact of the

chemicals with skin, eyes and mucous membranes! Rinse any

affected areas immediately with clear water and consult a doctor!

WEAR PROTECTIVE GLOVES! Leaking or damaged

batteries/rechargeable batteries can cause burns if

they come into contact with skin. Therefore, wear

suitable protective gloves in such cases. In the event of leakage

from the batteries/rechargeable batteries, remove them from the

product immediately to avoid damage. Only use

batteries/rechargeable batteries of the same type. Do not mix old

batteries/rechargeable batteries with new ones! Remove the

batteries/rechargeable batteries if the product will not be used

for a prolonged period.

RISK: DAMAGE TO THE

PRODUCT

Only use the specified type of battery/rechargeable battery!

Insert batteries according to the polarity markings (+) and (-) on

the battery/rechargeable battery and the product. Clean the

contacts on the battery/rechargeable battery and in the battery

compartment with a dry, lint-free cloth or cotton swab before

inserting them. Remove empty batteries/rechargeable batteries

from the product immediately.

Position the product securely

You can hang the product from a nail or screw with the

suspension device . Simply affix it to a magnetic metal surface

or set it up with the folding stand .

Before affixing it to the wall, make sure that there is no gas, water

or electricity pipe at the connection point. Note the condition of

the wall.

The manufacturer accepts no liability for damage caused by

incorrect mounting.

Protect sensitive surfaces before setting up to avoid scratches.

Make sure that:

 adequate ventilation is always guaranteed (do not place the

product on shelves or where curtains or furniture cover

the sensors and leave at least 10 cm distance on all sides);

 the product is not placed on a thick carpet or bed during

operation and no direct heat sources (e.g. heaters) act on the

product;

 the product is kept away from direct sunlight;

 to avoid contact with splashing and dripping water (do not

place objects filled with liquids, e.g., vases, on or next to the

product);

 the product is not in the immediate vicinity of magnetic fields

(e.g., loudspeakers);

 to avoid having foreign objects interfere with it;

 candles and other open flames must be kept away from this

product at all times to prevent the spread of fire.
